It is with deep sorrow that the Assyria Liberation Party shares the tragic news that shocked us this morning. On the morning of April 2, Assyrian activist Ninos Afram was attacked by unknown assailants on his way to work. Despite the best efforts of doctors, Ninos Afram died in the hospital.

Unfortunately, such tragic events have recently become commonplace in Europe, especially in Sweden, where innocent people fall victim to various criminal groups. In these difficult times, the Assyria Liberation Party appeals to the sons and daughters of our people in Sweden: please take care of yourselves and your loved ones and try to stay away from similar incidents occurring in Sweden, lest you fall victim to the dark games of criminal groups. You can protect your future if you stand united; only then will you be strong and the state will be on your side.

Ninos Afram, the son of Dr. Ibrahim Afram, has always been actively involved in the youth life of the Assyrians in Sweden.

Dr. Ibrahim Afram is a respected figure known for his literary, political, and nationalist activities. He dedicated his life to the Assyrian people, serving for many years in various Assyrian institutions and organizations and actively participating in the founding and activities of the Assyria Liberation Party.

The Assyria Liberation Party expresses its deepest condolences to Afram's family, as well as all his relatives, loved ones and friends.
